Prospective students can choose between tours and information sessions at either the Monroe Park or MCV campus depending on the track they’re interested in.

Sessions on the MCV Campus are for prospective graduate students interested in the health science schools — Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy.

Tours and information sessions on the Monroe Park Campus are for prospective graduate students interested in programs in the College of Humanities and Sciences, L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs, School of Mass Communications, School of the Arts, School of Business, School of Education, School of Engineering, School of Social Work and VCU Life Sciences.

Campus tour and specialized information sessions about graduate studies at VCU are available by appointment only. To make an appointment, email with the date of the session, the program in which you are interested, your phone number and your email address. You will receive an email confirmation with more information.

You’re also welcome to join one of the Undergraduate Admissions campus tours. The one-hour tours depart from the Welcome Center Monday through Saturday at 11 a.m. as well as Monday through Friday at 2:30 p.m., except on holidays and holiday weekends. Appointments are not required.

Recruitment fairs

Throughout the year, representatives from the Graduate School speak with potential students at recruitment fairs and events throughout the country, including the VCU Graduate and Professional Schools Fair.

School of Social Work Welcome Days

The School of Social Work M.S.W. Program will host Welcome Days on campus to give prospective students the chance to learn more about the program and the VCU community. You can create your own Welcome Day experience when registering and select to attend an information session, take a guided campus tour, visit an M.S.W. class and more!
