Miller Analogies Test

VCU testing site information

Test dates: Tests are generally administered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m., but can vary because the test center operates on VCU’s schedule. For test schedules and availability, email cpsd@vcu.edu.

Registration: To register, email cpsd@vcu.edu your contact information and indicate when you would like to take the exam. There is a two-person limit for each testing session, so you should generally request a seat at least two weeks in advance.

Fees: Candidates are required to pay after registering for the exam. Once you request a seat, you will receive a pre-payment form via email that must be completed and submitted to the Center for Psychological Services and Development. A confirmation email will be sent to you upon payment; a receipt will be given the day of the exam.

Test site: Testing is at CPSD, located at 612 N. Lombardy St. Only street parking is available, so allow time for parking.

Time period: Arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled test time and allow at least 90 minutes for completion. The pre-test portion of the session is approximately 35 minutes; the test portion is 60 minutes.

Score report: Tests are sent to Pearson Inc. for scoring. Results will be reported within two to four weeks to you and the universities to which you are applying.

Information booklet: The Candidate Information Booklet provides general information about the MAT exam and provides test-prep tips. Pick up a booklet at CPSD or you can access it on the MAT website.
